- Visit by the Working Group of Turkish Minorities/Communities to the Turkish community in Bulgaria

Halit Habip Oğlu, Vice-President of the Federal Union of European Nationalities (FUEN) paid on 5-7 May 2017 a study visit to Bulgaria upon the invitation of Kardzhali Turkish Culture and Arts Association (TÜRKSAD). During the study visit to Bulgaria where about 1.5 million Turks live, Habip Oğlu was accompanied by K. Engin Soyyılmaz from the Secretariat of the Working Group of Turkish Minorities/Communities (TAG) inside FUEN.

- FUEN Vice-President Halit Habip Oğlu visited the Turkish community in Kosovo

Halit Habip Oğlu, Vice-President of the Federal Union of European Nationalities (FUEN), visited on 17-19 April 2017 the Turks living in Kosovo, who are one of the founder communities of the Republic of Kosovo. Upon the invitation extended by the Kosovo Youth Union Association on the occasion of National Festival of Kosovo Turks on 23 April, FUEN Vice-President Habip Oğlu met during the visits paid to Pristina and Prizren where Kosovo Turks populate intensely with the representatives of the Turkish community in the Republic of Kosovo which obtained its independence on 17 February 2008.

- FUEN paid a study visit to Kiev

Federal union of European Nationalities (FUEN) paid a study visit to Kiev, capital of Ukraine, on 21-24 March 2017. In the first pillar of the visit a round table meeting with minority organizations which are members of FUEN was held on minority policy of Ukraine with participation of Lorant Vincze, President of FUEN, Halit Habip Oğlu, Vice-President of FUEN and Bernard Gaida, Speaker of German Minorities Working Group (AGDM).
